Good but didn't follow CDC guidelines

Food was just okay if you are very hungry. Not a lot of breakfast options in this town. Cinnamon bun was dry even though it was dripping in frosting. Servers were friendly but one of them didn’t wash their hands after using the washroom. Wish I hadn’t seen that after I finished eating. Will not go back there again.

Currently they are only taking cash - the ATM fee is $2.95. Our waitress did very little for us. Anytime we needed something we had to flag her down. Their side salad consists of a lot of lettuce, 2 mini carrots, and a few slices of cucumber. Otherwise, the rest of the food was pretty good.

Good food, service was a little slow

Food was delicious, my toddler loved it because they serve Mickey shaped pancakes. I only gave it 4 stars because they are a little pricey for breakfast. The staff is very nice.

This is a small hometown cafe nestled in the Black Hills. When you walk in, you feel at home. I'm sure everyone is a tourist, but they are friendly. The food is really good. Don't expect anything fancy, but it's worth the price. The biscuits are great! Our server was very funny and you could tell he loved his job. He also told us a little about Keystone.

Breakfast was good, but a little greasy. Wait staff was very pleasant.

The Staff here is A+!!! The waiter was very funny and super nice. He made you feel like you are accepted here. Great for families with a hometown feel. I ordered "The Everthing Salad" and it was great. Other people in my group said it was the best food they have ever had. The prices were ok and THEY DONT ACCEPT CREDIT CARDS!!! For people that dont know this is an inconvenience.

Food was good. Service was horrible! They add a tip to bill. Cashier was rude and rolled eyes when I asked for receipt

Food was so-so. $2.99 for a glass of iced tea. Sign showed the were open till 2:00, but we saw them turning away folks at 1:20.

Service was a little slow as a rain storm forced people inside before the normal rush. They were breaking in a new employee too. Everyone was in a good mood though. The food was very good. The half pound mushroom Swiss burger I had was excellent and my wife's patty melt was the best she's ever had. She has had a lot of them in her 60+ years. The home made chips were terrific. We'll try to make it back there before leaving the Black Hills.

Great comfort food in Keystone, SD. Very friendy and great service. Homestyle cooking that reminds you of home.

Great place to eat breakfast old time atmosphere not far from mt Rushmore

We stopped here while vacationing in Keystone. Terrible, overpriced food. Terrible customer service. Annoying, obnoxious waiter kept talking really loud. Had to ask for straws, napkins, and, silverware. While waiting to pay, was ignored by the waitress standing directly in front of us. Did not accept credit cards. Will never eat there again. Would never recommend to anyone. Gave 1 star only because I had to.

Average experience. I went here for breakfast. I know there is an extreme shortage of help this year in Keystone. Due to this the service was slow as to be expected. I got the biscuits and gravey. It was ok. Nothing outstanding. Warm but not hot. It is one of the few places that serves breakfast in Keystone. They are only taking cash at the moment, not sure why. Pricing is normal for a 100% tourist town.

Waitress was great. Service was slow because the cooks were slow. And food was horrible! Cinnamon roll was stale and cold. Eggs were cold. Guy in line to pay said his pancakes were lousy too. So, save your money and eat at your hotel, will be better food for free!

Website and on their menu says breakfast till noon...walked in the door, asked about breakfast...they said no...we decided to just stop breakfast because they got busy on a rush earlier. So if you want breakfast better get here by 8 am so they don't change their minds...Very unpleasant

After half an hour of waiting 4 our food and seeing other people that arrived after after us get their food we decided 2 leave. When we went 2 pay 4 our drinks the gentleman at the counter was very rude

Service was so awful... wait, I can’t even say that because nobody waited on my table. We had to walk out. Definitely avoid that place. I would have if I had read the reviews before going. Oh and 0 stars out of 5. Unfortunately I don’t get that option.

Food was very good. Food was a bit overpriced but it was to be expected in a tourist town. Waiter we had was loud and animated. But very nice. Service was a bit slow but not bad. Decent overall. They don't accept cards, but do have an atm.

Super family friendly family owned family operated cafe. We had a great breakfast. Bacon was really really good!

The breakfast was very expensive for what you get. From the name home cooking, I assumed good food and large portions. What we had though was a very over priced breakfast that was pretty mediocre.

The food was good. They were so understaffed I felt the need to help, although I couldn't. They did have a please be patient sign as they were understaffed so the heads up was appreciated. Also cash only (atm inside), and breakfast ends at 11am, it sure looked delicious tho!

When we went to dinner, My daughter ordered the fettuccine Mac ‘n cheese. She said it was very good and it was a great idea. The only problem she had was the pay phone at the front. It didn’t work after she tried 4 times! My Son says 5 stars!!

Great breakfasts! We have been eating here many years and never disappointed. Can get a bit busy at times that slows service, but we will eat breakfast here every time we come to Keystone

Cash only? Weird. We waited 10 minutes for a table (they claimed short staffed and busy but very few families were in the restaurant). Finally got a table and waited easily another 10 mins with no one coming to take our order, yet 2 other tables that came in after us were waited on. We decided to leave realizing we werent going to be eating anytime soon and especially knowing it was going to take all our cash. The first inclination of how our experience was going to go shouldve been when I asked the mgr (I'm assuming) how long the wait would be. She replied pretty much we will get you when we can. Glad we left and when further down the road to another restaurant to give our money to.

Restaurant seemed a bit run down, no one was wearing masks and my daughter's and husband's eggs tasted like chemicals. The only good part was the cinnamon roll.

Amazingly tasty sausage, eggs, pancakes and toast!!! Plus a very reasonable price!!
